Be Internet awesome

“Vivi Internet al meglio” (“Be Internet awesome”) is a project developed by Google in collaboration with Telefono Azzurro and Altroconsumo, that promotes digital citizenship and safety for young people, giving them all the awareness tools they need to fight against hate, negative comments and cyberbullying.

Aiming to turn this project into an experience and to meet our target audience face to face, we brought VIAM to the Giffoni Film Festival, one of the most important film festivals for children and teenagers in the world.

During the festival, popular YouTubers and Google representatives staged free activities for families and kids, with the purpose of raising awareness and providing the tools to browse the web in a positive, responsible manner.

This project focused on five highly relevant topics, the contents of which were conveyed through engagement activities: online reputation, phishing, privacy and safety, online harassment and bullying. The audience’s response exceeded the highest expectations.
