Triumph Group International: 2023 Strategy and Sustainable Actions in the New Impact Report
A document celebrating TGI's four years as a Benefit Corporation with significant innovations in reporting and sustainability goals for the next three years.
Rome, 2 September 2024 – Triumph Group International has released its IV Sustainability Report and III Impact Report, both integrated into the 2023 Impact Report. This document marks an important milestone, celebrating four years of commitment to pursuing common benefit goals in a responsible, sustainable, and transparent manner, balancing the interests of shareholders with those of the community.
Among the main innovations is an approach that values the heterogeneity of the Holding, which is present in 2 continents and 5 countries (Italy, UK, Belgium, Singapore, and China). For the first time, data from all subsidiaries has been collected both collectively to provide an overview of the Group and separately, with dedicated sheets that become real working tools for each company.
Since 2023, the drafting of the Impact Report has made a significant leap forward, bringing standard reporting to a new level with two perspectives: one that assesses corporate impact and another that focuses on the services offered. TGI has also integrated many elements of the ESRS into its reporting tool, aligning with the European directives that will become mandatory from 2024 for listed companies. Thanks to feedback from internal and external stakeholders, the data in the document has been made more readable and usable.
Maria Criscuolo, Chairwoman & Founder of Triumph Group International, stated: “Our commitment to sustainability and employee well-being is at the core of our corporate strategy. We are proud of the results we have achieved and are determined to continue on this path, actively involving our employees and collaborators.” Francesca Accettola, Director of Triumph Italy and Vice President of Triumph Group International, added: “Our vision for the future is that of a company with high sustainability standards, inspiring its partners and clients to do the same. We will continue to work towards creating an inclusive and sustainable work environment, promoting well-being and innovation.”
Irene Bengo, CEO of Triadi, an innovative startup and spin-off of the Polytechnic University of Milan, added: “The publication of the 2023 Impact Report represents an important milestone in the impact measurement journey that Triadi has undertaken with Triumph Group International. Among the tools developed for TGI, the dashboard of indicators stands out. Using a Theory of Change approach, it identifies output, outcome, and impact indicators in line with the Group’s common benefit goals. The dashboard, consistent with major European reporting standards, is a flexible and highly customised tool designed to measure and manage the impact generated by the Group both internally and, through its events, externally.”
