The allure of the location perfectly complemented the elegance and exclusivity of the event, creating just the right mix of emotions that Ruinart wanted to offer its guests.
Ruinart, the world’s oldest champagne house, chose Triumph for a 3-day celebration held within the amazing setting of the archaeological area of the Stadium of Domitian in Rome, in the underground of Piazza Navona. The maison welcomed over 1000 guests in a remarkable event.
Triumph worked with Ruinart throughout the planning and crafting stages, taking care of the general concept and its application to the graphic design, the setup and the scenography. The scenographic aspect was the most delicate part of the whole event, as the location is listed and extremely protected due to its immense historical and architectonic value.
On the opening night of “Maison Ruinart Roma”, in the presence of Frédéric Dufour, President of Ruinart and Frédéric Panaiotis, Chef de Cave Ruinart, the 200 guests, including Luca Zingaretti and actress Luisa Ranieri, witnessed the show cooking performance by one of the few female Italian chefs with Michelin stars, Cristina Bowerman, who created several gourmet street food dishes to go with the champagnes.
The star of the evening was the photographic exhibition by Chinese artist Liu Bolin, king of camouflage, selected by the Maison for its annual artistic project in 2018. Entertainment was provided by international DJ Brina Knauss.
The events held over the next two days had a more technical focus, with tastings devoted to restaurant owners in Rome and clients of the Maison, guided tours of artwork reserved to clients and stakeholders, as well as private parties, planned in cooperation with Lampoon, Tag Heuer, Dior, Unicredit, Wall Street Journal.
